The Frisco football team's defense led the way Thursday at the Ford Center, shutting out Reedy for a 31-0 victory.

The Raccoons' second straight win helped them move up in the 5A Division II state rankings, where Frisco is now No. 6.

Frisco intercepted two passes and recovered two fumbles against Reedy, following up a strong defensive performance in the opener against Independence.

Caree' Green threw for 174 yards and a touchdown to Chase Lowery, who had 4 receptions for 127 yards. Frisco's offensive attack included 10 players with at least one rushing attempt. Bradford Martin had 9 carries for 86 yards and a touchdown.

Frisco opens District 7-5A Division II play on Friday with a 7 p.m. game at Lake Dallas.
