Frisco ISD has a deep pool of talented tennis players, so the District 9-5A tournament was very competitive this week. Congratulations to the District champions, which includes Frisco High's Mohan Yechuri.
Yechuri won the boys singles title without dropping a set. He lost a total of only four games in the first three rounds, and in the championship, he battled Lebanon Trail's Nathan Tserng and won 6-3, 7-6 (4).

The top two finishers from each bracket advanced to the Region 2 Tournament, which will be April 27-28 at the Courts in McKinney.
