The Frisco football team earned its second straight win -- and one that could be key to its playoff hopes -- with a 20-6 victory over Lake Dallas on Thursday.

Frisco improved to 4-3 overall and 4-1 in District 7-5A Division II by stifling the Lake Dallas offense at Frisco ISD Memorial Stadium. Lake Dallas had scored 35 or more points in four if its first five games.

Aaron Taylor's 14-yard run late in the first half gave the Raccoons their first lead at 7-3. They would never give it up, as Bryson Clemons caught a 25-yard pass from Carter Yates in the third quarter, Nick Stanton scored on a 1-yard run in the fourth quarter, and the Frisco defense didn't allow Lake Dallas in the end zone all night.
