Frisco High School senior Pierce James was presented with a $500 scholarship on Friday as the first recipient of the DXL Frisco Bowl's new Team Behind The Team Scholarship Program presented by Town & Country Roofing.

FISD high school seniors will have the chance to win as much as $3,000 in scholarships this season as part of the scholarship program. Students are judged based on their ability to showcase school spirit, sportsmanship and unwavering support for their school’s football team.

The $500 recipients from each school will have an opportunity to participate in a video contest to win an additional $2,500 scholarship. The video contest scholarship winner will be presented at The DXL Frisco Bowl at Toyota Stadium on December 19.
