On Friday night, Frisco High left the field at Toyota Stadium trailing Denton Braswell 14-6 in the first quarter. The rain and lightning that night pushed the game to the next day -- and at another stadium.

When the game resumed Saturday at FISD Memorial Stadium, the Raccoons took control and won 35-21.

Frisco rushed for nearly 300 yards in the game, led by Nick Stanton, who had 20 carries for 143 yards.

The Raccoons lost their first two games of the season, but the win over Braswell was the first game that factored into the playoff race. Frisco is now 1-0 in 5A-Division II District 7-5A.

Frisco continues district play this week with a matchup against Lebanon Trail. The game is Friday at Ford Center at The Star.
