The Frisco Foootball Team won a wild game Friday in Meliissa, where the Raccoons took on one of the top-ranked 4A teams in the area.

After a back-and-forth game filled with big plays, Frisco pulled out the 48-41 victory to improve to 2-0 this season. Bryson Clemons' third touchdown run of the game -- an 85-yarder with less than six minutes left -- was the game-winner for Frisco.

After Clemons' final touchdown run, the Frisco defense stopped Melissa as it tried to even the game with a touchdown.

Frisco moved up to No. 9 this week in the Dallas Morning News' 5A rankings.

Frisco plays on the road again this week as it takes on Denton Braswell at C.H. Collins Complex in Denton on Friday (Sept. 13).
